Phillips Academy is pleased to welcome back three alumni judges, Justice Gabrielle R. Wolohojian ’78, Justice Eric Neyman ’86, P’22, and Justice Sookyoung Shin ’92, for oral arguments on four MA Appeals Court cases.
These hearings, which typically take place on law school campuses across the Commonwealth, help citizens to learn more about the judiciary's role and to witness the courts in action. Traveling oral arguments are similar to the oral arguments which are conducted in the Boston courtroom: a bailiff calls the court into session, the judges enter, and lawyers for the parties present their arguments to the judges and answer the judges' questions. Oral arguments will include two civil and two criminal cases.
Following the adjournment of the court proceedings at noon, the judges will respond to questions from the Student Alumni Representatives about their professional journeys beyond Andover.
